[Day 07] Earlier this year Aisha decided that she could start a similar gathering … at the market! So most late afternoons when the market has quieted, she gathers with up to six others. “We are God’s creation,” she says. “Sharing with each other and praying together will help us stay close to God.” In recent weeks this small group has enjoyed readings from Genesis and from the life of Jesus. Jesus is with Aisha as she loves others in His name.

Most Christians are fairly uninformed about Islamic beliefs. In a similar way, many Muslims do not understand or are ignorant of Christian teaching about Jesus. Muslims claim that Jesus did not die on the cross – such a death is considered to be unworthy of such a good prophet. They affirm that Jesus was taken up to heaven without dying.

Always treat your Muslim friend with deep respect and find out what their views are on issues. Rather than looking for opportunities to ’share the truth’, be natural and open about sharing your life: Share God’s Word. For some students taking the step of becoming a follower of Jesus could mean being sent home, persecution or even death.

The content and services provided by 30-Days are provided in accordance to our statement of faith. This page describes what we believe and how that belief interacts with our ministry and mission and vision for the future.

Muslims often believe that Christians are deceived and that they have an obligation to lead them to the truth of Islam. Because of this they reject many things that come from Western society and which they consider perverted. Christians need to know about these objections and be prepared to deal with them correctly.
