   I was just wondering how we ” Christians ” would feel if ” Muslim’s ” decided that ” Christians ” have good intentions but unfortunately have got their religion mixed up and need the “Real” truth” reveled to them !
   Therefore ” Muslim’s ” will pray for ” Christians ” to come to understand and accept Islam as the one true way to God and will set aside the month of Easter or Christmas because ” Christians ” are more prone to be influenced during their Holy times and need to be saved ! ……
   ……..so?
   ……..how would we feel?

   I would be interested to know if anyone else thinks the same

   muslims would not pray for christians or anyone else to have the ‘Truth’ revealed to them because we believe that only Allah/God can do that. Muslims would be happy to tell anyone who is interested, what they want to know about islam and they would be encouraged to go out and find out for themselves. As for whether they in turn become a muslim - it is not in the power of another human being to make them turn to the religion of Islam.

   I find this website incredibly biased and arrogant towards the faith of islam as goes to show by the idea that praying for us during our holy month will turn muslims towards Christianity

   For any christians or other people who read this website this is not a representation of what billions of muslims around the world feel or experience for their religion. All our prayers begin in Arabic with ‘Bismilla-hir-rahma-nir-raheem’ God the most benefiecient the most merciful the most kind….. how does that tally with this website’s comment that muslims see god as impersonal?? Unlike christianity muslims do not need priests or vicars to mediate with God for them our prayers are between the individual and Allah himself. We strongly believe that Allah listens to everything we say . This is just 1 point where i can contradict this website’s claims. I would be here forever if i addressed every single one and i am not even an islamic scholar - just an ordinary muslim. An islamic scholar would be able to provide reference points and evidence from the Qu’ran and reference books to show that the patronising comments made here are not justified.

   I suggest that anyone who has queries from anything they find on this website go to islamic websites such as shareislam.com to find out what islam is really about. You may be pleasantly surprised. You need not be worried that ‘those’ islamic websites will brainwash you as i said earlier… you will only become a muslim if Allah so wills it..

   i’m sorry i went on for so long Mr Smith but to sum up i can’t imagine that christians would like to be told that they need to be shown the truth and as a muslim i certainly hope that the christians spend the month of Ramadan in a more constructive fashion than wasting it on such a fruitless prayer for which, whether they like it or not will have to answer to god for one day.

   Allah is a moon god chosen from among many gods.
   He is not the same as the Christians’ God. Did Allah create the world? Did Allah die for the people so they could have forgiveness of sins if they believed in Allah as Christians believe that God sent Jesus for that purpose? The reason that Christians pray for Islamic people is that our God is a living God who knows all our thoughts. Allah is a god thought up by humans and especially by Mohammed. Did anyone see Mohammed ascend up to heaven? Is his grave not still here on the earth? No one saw him come back to life as people saw Christ after His resurrection. This is proof that He is God come to earth. Where is the proof for Mohammed that he is god? Christians love whereby Islamic people want the Christians dead.

   I visited the web-site you suggested http://www.shareislam.com. It’s unfortunate how that site has distorted the words of the Bible and distorted the figure of Jesus Christ. In the Bible it says, in fact, God says, that if His words are distorted or taken out of context, there will be a heavy price to pay. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. I hope you get to know Him during your prayer time during the month of Ramadan. If you truly seek God, with your entire being, you will get to Christ. I pray that you become a child of light, and those are Jesus’ own wishes, that we become children of light, and not of darkness. Remember Daisyrose, God is not a God of confusion. He would never give us the Holy Bible, and then tell us it became distorted and then make up an entirely new book called the Koran. He knows what He’s doing, and He doesn’t change the words of the Bible. Christ performed peaceful deeds and miracles and SAVED, SAVED, SAVED! Your prophet Muhammad did none of that, in fact he killed people. God would never send us a prohphet like that. I pray and hope you find what you’re looking for-a personal and deep relationship with God, and the only way to Him, is through Christ-again, those are Jesus’ words- “No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well.” John 14:6-7
   The countless people Christ appeared to after the Resurrection, the countless lives He changed. The miracles He performed for the sick. The hungry that He fed. The dead that He resurrected. He healed a Roman soldiers ear when Peter, a disciple, cut off his ear, there were dozens of witnesses who saw that. You can’t convince people to lie about this stuff, no, not that many people. The 5000 and the 4000 he fed with 5 fish and 3 loaves of bread. I don’t know of a way to get 9000 people ALL to lie and go along with a story. He is real! His body does not lay in a tomb that’s visited by tourists-because Jesus lives! Get to know Him! You will truly be saved then! He is your joy, hope, biggest supporter, best friend, and He will always carry you, through the good times and bad. I know this because I have always felt His presence during the worst times and during the best times. I am telling you this out of love and joy that Christ gives me! Amen!

   Greetings to all

   Firstly, our world is in alot of pain. There are countless people who take it upon themselves to belittle or hurt other faiths.

   It does no one any good for a Christain to hurt a Muslim or a Muslim to hurt a Christian. Being a Muslim, my wish is we can live in a civil society where one man respect another man religion. Hollywood and many in the media industry seem to make their sole purpose to attack Muslims for endless reasons. We can all do with a little more respect for others.

   Our Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) is not a god - he never claim to be one. He is the best of role model, a compasionate man - as an illustration: There was once an old women who tormented our Prophet every single day for months on end, being an old lady she fell ill and did not torment our Prophet, Seeing this change, our Prophet ask of the women. He was told she was ill. Without haste, our Prophet visited the old lady and helped clean her house. To this simple act of kindness, the old lady stop tormenting our Prophet.

   Everyone can learn from this, Christians, Muslilms, Buddhist etc. If only we can learn about compassion, patience, forgiveness and being civic, we would not need foul languages, guns, bombs and hate groups. We have only this earth to live in. IS IT NOT TIME THAT WE RESPECT EACH OTHER. Every man has faults is it too hard to forgive another man.

   Lets start small, the next time a waiter messed up your order, please dont scream at him. It might have been an honest mistake. One step at a time. Quoting a Chinese saying: The journey of a thousand miles start with a step. We need each other. We dont hate you, please dont hate us.

   By the way, I do pray for Muslims and others so that everyone find truth and when they meet it, they embrace it and not turn it down. Not be blinded by hate and presumptions.

I know many muslims that read the Bible just for the purpose of educating themselves on something different… do many Christians feel there faith is strong enough to read the Quran?

    I wish I can say the same thing about fairness in the Muslims here in our country , the Philippines. In a place called Marawi City in Mindanao, ask the people there and they do not even want to be considered Filipinos. The Christians their who are a minority dont have a cross in their church out of fear of the Muslims who will not respect the Christians belief. Because they are a majority in the locality, they impose their beliefs of Sharia. WHere is reciprocity in respect of beliefs? When they come to the cities where Christians are a majority, we never impose and leave the Muslims to have their own mosques. Yet, the priest in Marawi City will not be able to dare hang a cross around his neck. Also in Tawi-tawi City, a far-flung region in Mindanao, the religious nuns and priests need bodyguards because they are being kidnapped. The nuns have fears for when they are kidnapped they are subjected to pressures to marry a Muslim.

    Last year it was in the news that an innocent waitress who didn’t know that the noodles serves in the HOuse of Representative at that time contained pork and when inquired by a Muslim congresswoman if there was pork, she thought there was none. When the congresswoman realized that there was porked, she hit her and raised hell. That waitress was traumatized. Tell me can you now convince that girl that Muslims are rational people? I know as an educated person that there are rotten people in every race and religion. But this waitress is only simply educated and first impression lasts. This Muslim Filipino congresswoman should have analyzed whether the situation was intentional or not. Jesus has been rational when giving his teachings. There has to be an agreement in FAITH and REASON and not blind faith alone. LOGIC should be applied in every situation because precisely God gave us the gift of REASON to follow Him. I really wonder why Muslims think they are the victim when I feel Christians have been bullied long enough to kowtow to their every wish. Late last year, a group of Muslims here in my city are demanding that the government build a coliseum just for them to celebrate their festivities especially Ramadan because our coliseum for them is filthy due to dogs having been there. They have been given a separate cemetery already. Here in my locality, there are Taoists, Buddhists, Hindus too and a lot of other Christian sects. But for many years we have lived peacefully with each other. There are no demands from government or people to conform to their wishes and beliefs. When these Muslim filipinos started immigrating here because we are a booming city, then the demands also started to surface. Hey, when in Rome be a Roman. If you can’t then, you were never asked to come in the first place. Just please stop bullying all of us and telling us you are victims of discrimination.

    Let’s start respecting each other beliefs too by allowing Christians in Saudi Arabia wear their religious ornaments, allow them to bring the Bible and read them. In Qatar, though the first Church has finally been put up, there are still no Crosses to proclaim our beliefs. Yet, elsewhere where Christians are majority, Muslims are flaunting their beliefs through the crescent symbol.

    I do not hate Muslims. They say love the sinner but hate the sin just as Jesus did when He forgave the prostitute and saved her from being stoned by the people. He told her that he is not condemning her and instead forgiving her her sin but he said, do not sin anymor. Likewise, I just disliked the way the rest of us (atheists, non-Christians, Christians, secularists, religious etc) are being portrayed by Muslims as racists and discriminating when in fact they should be looking first at the speck in their own eye before they can blame things on the rest of humanity
