I have had serious depression from i was little. I am now 29 years old, but i am still afflicted with it. I cannot sleep because of it. my mother and i cannot get along because of it and so too my father. I am scared because I don’t know what is going to happen to me.I have always been able to deal with the depression by myself however I was part of a situation that went bad last year and i,ve been trying to mentally deal with it for a year now. This has only added fuel to the fire and it is making my life a living hell. The depression and social problems caused me not to be able to relate to girls and girls to be able to relate to me and that is why at this moment and on many occasions, i have not had a girlfriend. People don’t understand me, they think i am evil. please pray that my mother and father will understand me because they dont, neither does anybody else. I want to be understood. Please PRAY for me
Dear kristofer
I have just found your letter. It must be heart-rending to be in such a depression. There are different causes of depression, but I strongly suspect a spiritual component in your case.
Have you ever called upon Jesus the loving Saviour ? He is all-powerful over all dark, depressing powers. In the Bible, one man called to Jesus, ‘Lord save me’, and immediately Jesus reached out His hand to him and rescued him.
That would be my first step.
Then I would ask Jesus to heal my condition, and to drive out any dark, depressive power.
Depression is a battle that quite a few Christians have.
Some people are helped by EPA, a fish oil. Large doses of vitamin C can work wonders, including against depression.
God knows the cause(s) in your case, kristofer.
If you can, start reading the Holy Bible and building your hope on our wonderful God.
Whatever you do, never give up hope or life.
Jesus is coming.
I have just begun to pray for you. (July 17,07.)
Let us see what God will do.
Sincerely, Suzanne.
Dear Kristofer,
Be encouraged. There is hope for your situation. As my sister suspects, so do I, that your situation may be one of demonic oppression. The Word of God, the Bible offers us hope and victory in every situation. Call on the Name of Jesus. Cry out to Him for help. He is your salvation. I know because over five months ago the Lord delivered me from a spirit of depression- that’s what your situation sounds like, a spirit of depression.
I too have prayed to you today
Charmaine
Dear kristofer
How are you ? God still loves you & cares about you . Have you called upon Jesus Christ to have mercy upon you, to save your soul, & to set you free from oppressing powers ?
Are there any Christian ministers in your area who have faith and love necessary to drive out demons ,& to cure people as Jesus did ?
Jesus healed ALL who came to Him, oppressed by the devil.
The Bible says that Jesus has not changed. Some Christians still dare to set people free – IN JESUS’ NAME !
To be free, we need to confess our sins to Jesus, & then say, ‘I am finished with sin & evil. Be gone you evil one, in Jesus’ name.” Then we must keep from giving in to sin again.
God helps us to stay free.
I confess that I have not given as much time to praying for you, kristofer, as I thought I would. Please forgive me. But I will continue to ask God to give you the freedom Jesus bought for us with His lifeblood.
Are you able to post a reply here ?
Suzanne.
Thanks for publishing and distributing the brochure of 30 days of prayer in favor of muslim friends and neighbors.United in intercecssion for the advance of our compassionate Lord in muslim world
Dear Kristofer,
I too have suffered from depression in the past. I know God can heal all things and He has a plan through all of this, but that does not change the pain you feel right now. Knowing God’s love and forgiveness through Christ is a deep comfort. We are very complex – I would consider nutritional help such as Sam-e, and good professional psychology too while you explore the deep spiritual issues.
With prayers,
May
Hi Kristofer,
I am just reading this mail since you posted it sometime in May. However, this may be for you or for some other person in need of an inner peace; there is an emptiness we all feel at various times of our life, and the bible tells us that God has set that emptiness so that men would seek after Him.
When you feel down and out, you need more of God. The more of God that you have, the more of His peace you would have.
Phil 4:6-7, teaches us that we should not be anxious over anything, but we should just pray………………….and the peace of God that passes human understanding would keep our hearts………. (paraphrased).
We all go through down moments in our lives, but for those who trust in Christ, he gives us an inner peace; a confidence that God is in control. The truth is that most depressions come from an inner fear, so the antidote of fear is FAITH.
So dearly beloved, dare to trust Jesus and you would watch him roll away your sorrows. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing that he cannot handle. So as you give Him all your troubles and concerns, you would not need to worry anymore.
A popular hymn reads:
What a friend we have in Jesus……………………….
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pains we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer
(Hey Brother, take EVERYTHING to God in prayer)
A simple prayer of Faith can do the miracle:
Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that the chastisement of my peace was upon you, therefore you have paid the price for my peace. I believe your word, and I cast all my cares upon you because you care for me.
Your booklet has informed so many people about the need for prayer. This year we want to try to meet to gether as well as use the booklet.
We are working on the coal face here i with the Mirpuri peoples and churches are getting more involved.
Thankyou for this book everyone should have one!
I think the booklet let’ s us to take a look in our inner self and enhance the self belief that our wounds will be healed by the higher power of divine. As prayer is the salt of life and we cannot do without it. It is ingrained in the nature of Man to pray for the fulfillment of his wishes whatever they be. But more often than not we do not know what we may really pray for, how to pray, and what we may do to make our prayer a great dynamic force as may stir up Heaven’s mercy.
Dear Sir,
We very much appreciate your involvement in the ministry of praying for the muslims for 30 days which will be very productive and fruitful. Only one suggestion, the translation in the booklet of Tamil language is not upto the mark. Otherwise this kind of ministry is highly applaudble and God’s Name will be Glorified and spread throughout the world.
Please make necessary arrangements in proper Tamil translation of these kind of booklets.
Thanks,
In Christ’s Love,
Sridevi
in our ministry team we have been praying during these 30 days.and i knew so much about different countries which r considered to be a unreached people group.now i feel more sympathy and compassion for these people.and i know their needs.through the prayer my vision was expanded about importance of the Gospel all over. now i’m praying for going somewhere to serve God and people who didn’t hear about Jesus yet. so far God puts Africa in my heart.if here is anybody wants to pray for that with me, well, thank you. praise the Lord!
