Islam has no hidden agenda, except to promote peace- that may be hard for you to believe because the media has distorted the image of Islam so much. Funny how history repeats itself: not too long ago, Jews were persecuted by Christians and (still are) accused to have a hidden agenda, too. What next- Hindus will be accused of having a hidden agenda? it depends on whom the us govt. and media hates at the time.

Allah is God. "Allah" means "God" in Arabic. There is no God but God (Allah) himself. That's what Muslims believe. The fact that you think Islam has many dieties shows that you are sadly misinformed. So before you express your thoughts, with all due respect, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ACCURATE INFORMATION. Islam says to respect others' religions and their views. It tells us to respect even those who hate. So I will respect you, and not retaliate with bigotry against your religion in response to your comment. And whatever tribe is at odds with whichever- honestly, what does it matter?

Please tell me if there are any Sufis in your community and their lineage? There is something about modernity and transcendence above dogma that seems very helpful for our times AND the ecumenical spirit of your community (from watching TLC). I would be grateful for the community's feeling on this subject, insha'allah.

@ Steve, i can see by your first few words that you have very limited knowledge about Islam,Christianity and Jadaism..no offense meant, just stating a fact.
If you read the Old Testament (the Torah) the books of the Bible,and the Quran,you will find that the Message of the Prophers/Messengers of Allah/God is the same..what changes is the law's..why? because the difference in times..new things,new events etc..etc=new laws..About believing in Jesus,a muslim is NOT a muslim if he does not accept and believe in Jesus..And you are right,Jesus said :the only way to the Father/Allah is trough Me..meaning,follow and obey the Message the Father/Creator sent me with..He also said: i was not sent BUT for the lost sheeps=the house of israel= the jews..Jesus never claim Divinity,He is not,and never said "i am God..never...please dont take my word for it..but do read the Bible..even better,read the Quran..
read John 14:16-15:16-16:7-16:13..Jesus message its right there..do you not believe in what he said..?
in the Old testament read Haggai ii7,in read Deuteronomy 34:10..to mention few..i will reply later to your other posts Insha Allah

There is a huge difference in those religions. Christianity is the only religion that accepts and believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and is God, and has been here as a man over 2000 years ago and is coming back again. He is the only way to the Father.

Islam is a false religion. Allah is one of many Muslim Gods. he is not THE God of Christians. He is not the God of the Jews. He is not the creator of the universe or anything. If your Allah is anything, then why is it that 95% of Muslims world wide are dirt poor and illiterate? Your hidden agenda for the destruction of Christians and Jews and for the take over of the world by Shariah law is not welcome here in America. Americans and Christians alike will not accept your tyranny, threats, or polluting of God's Holy Word, the Bible, by your satanic driven false religion. Read the Biblical account of Isaac and Ishmael, and you will see where Ishmael is not the chosen of God and he is the direct source of your Islamic movement which is by Biblical accounts, prohesied to be at odds with the line of Isaac. Seek Jesus.

@ Tom,i think the question was>>WHEN was the last time...etc..etc..so, we are talking here the year 700..some...when the muslin conquered Spain,it is now the year 2011..and we (america) still in Iraq,Afghanistan,Libya...and we are still working hard on Iran..and not only...not keeping track here..but the question is WHY....??
But if you wish to talk about events of the past..shall i mention Pope Urban II
as in the Crusaders.? which by the way,when the muslin "invaded" spain,they did not slaughter people and children like the crusaders did...
