I know my own heart and if I was threatened I would struggle with desires for revenge and punishment. And I am upset about the continuing decimation of reasonable morality in our society in the name of freedom - as the Bible says, "Thinking themselves wise, they became fools." Last year I was so heartened to read a story about a community that stood up for Christians who were being attacked by certain "Muslims." When the members surrounded the Christians the attackers stopped. I pray that good Muslims will continue to stand up for peace and tolerance.
