Oh brother. Here is your oft repeated "Muslims have never seen the outside world or people of other faiths before". News flash: Muslims have coexisted with non-Muslims for 1400 years. We coexisted with the pagan and Jewish communities of Arabia until they warred against us. We coexisted with Christians in Syria and Lebanon. We coexisted with Hindus in India. We coexisted with Jews and Christians in Palestine. Muslims who immigrate to America coexist with all sorts of people. Get a clue.

You also say "all Muslims think this about so-and-so". How can you stereotype 1.7 billion people like that?

"Jesus says,
“You shall love your neighbour as yourself.”
Are my ideas and attitudes toward Muslims shaped by this commandment?"

Seeing as how you in your articles try to portray Muslims as closed-minded, backward people, insult our religion, and sometimes outright lie, I would say "no", your attitudes towards Muslims are not shaped by this commandment.

Muslims mostly tend to see that their religion is the one way and always seem to want to be working that angle and you know this country has done just fine without muslims for a long time with a lot of religions that consider themselves completely right. Muslims come to the west and take citizenship and with their righteous phoniness attempt to take over rather than peacefully coexist. They play the moderate muslim fiddle but its the silent cowering submission and silent agreement which is not peaceful but conspiratorial with the fundamentalists. Islam is anything but the religion of peace. Moderates are just as much a threat in this country as fundamentalists because moderates have the same goal and promote medieval shariah. Muslims want to change america to their convenience at the expense of others. You talk civil rights and about bigoted people and you turn around with bigotry and self righteousness and blindness that there just might be another religion that feels just the same about their god as you do. Muslims seem to have never learned the word empathy that jesus and the other prophets taught. Your sharia law is completely at odds with separation of church and state in the west. If life is so bad here go where you would have your way. Have you ever considered that some people consider you medieval religion state a cult and are repulsed by obtuse muslims with all their religion's associatiation with brutal criminal violence from the moderate complicity to the fundamentalist fanatics. Americans have lost patience and are becoming wise to the games of islam. Islam is constantly committing islamtheid-wanting to destroy all religions political, economic, and legal ways of life and steal their good for their selves. If you think the west is so bad then go back to your pathetic poverty and violent mullahs and sheiks. Then you can go attend your stonings and beatings and burnings, and brainwashing, and bombings on a regular basis and praise allah.

Some claim they are not here by choice, others are here for the money, others are here to take over and offer Islam as that solution.

xen, there are a number of studies and books on "social and political determinants of immigration" and they include a number of factors. Some include economic, political and social "freedoms". In context of the article above, many Muslims do not practice their faith so deeply. Others become relatively secluded from the West in which they live due to the close social / family circles. It is one reason relationships between groups can be somewhat tense, which was the thrust of the article.

Anyway, if you google "why people immigrate" you will find some books, studies, papers and discussions on the subject. Trust that helps, Admin

30-Days International, i have a question for you regarding the article above.

It states: "For many Muslims Western society is Christian. Many of them do not make any differentiate between Western culture and Christianity. For Muslims, alcohol consumption, pornography, popular films, music, a liberal lifestyle and a lack of public religious practise are sure signs of the failure of Western countries. For them, the word “Christian” signifies materialism, a lack of spirituality and moral failure. Because of this numerous Muslims reject trends and attitudes that come from Western society, which they consider perverted. Islamic fundamentalists and terrorists have termed Western societies as Satanic."

Why then do so many want to live here? It is as if they are desiring to live among the things they are actually against.

thank you for your comments,
xen

While I agree with the article, I want to add that the Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, and even many Christians preferred to maintain a traditional lifestyle and to have limited their contact with Muslims to a minimum. However, Muhammad and his followers imposed the religion of Islam upon the unwilling. We read in the Koran about the resistance on the part of the Jews, and the Meccans. We can be certain that there was resistance in every other country in the Middle east, Africa and Asia. Just like there is resistance in Europe today. When the resistance stops, Islam takes over. It is good if Christians are convicted by the devout and pious Muslims, but there are just as many worldly and sinful Muslims as there are pious ones. Christians are also convicted by the devotion of all who belong to the kingdom of the cults, but that doesn't mean they are right and we are wrong. There is no one who has lived up to his religious believes 100% of the time, except Jesus. What we as Christians should be doing is lifting up Jesus and defending him from the false accusations of Muslims instead of lifting up and defending Islam.
