I personally have never met one who can read the bible in its original language. If you do not understand the language that your book is translate from, than you are only getting an interpretation yourself. The interpretation can only be as good as the translators knowledge of the language, culture, history. You only believe that jesus is "the son of god" because that is what the translator wrote. what is the hebrew word for "only begotten son of god"? how about aramaic or greek? Faith without scholarly investigation is only a belief without foundation. We muslims are monotheist so it would be counter productive for us to divide God into a multiplicity of deities. In my opinion it is not about right or wrong, it is about the path that each person chooses to reach the creator. If you only read your book, than of course everything in your book is solid and unquestionable, because you do not have anything to compare it too. There never was a person named jesus in the bible because the hebrew language does not have a "J" in it. Since it is impossible for his name to be jesus, who is it that you are calling out to? it is definitely not the person in the bible. you do not even know who it is that you are calling out to. you really do not even know anything about him. you only know translations of second hand information. The gospels are not written by prophets nor are they indorsed by God. They are only reports written by supposed witnesses. I say supposed because they were not there when he was born, yet the disciples wrote about his birth and his trials like they were there.
