I would like to comment on muslims not being able to touch the opposite sex to me it's insulting there is no reason for it and it implies that the relationship between man and woman is more about sex than anything else and implies it could lead to sex and gives people vulgar vues on the relationship between men and women. The relationship between men and women is supposed to be about looking at each other as brothers and sisters fathers and mothers and son and daughters and to see the opposite sex in the way you see someone in which you would engage in sexual entercourse with as the exception not the rule even if your married, and to say you can't touch says that sex is the dominate between men and women. How would you explain it to a child, you would say were of opposite sexes and it would ask why because that wouldn't make sense so you say were not related that still wouldnt make sense. You would say because of sex and then it would be planted into its head that sex is the dominate thing. I mean no offense i'm only stating that in order to see men and women as men and women is to not forbid contact its only going to lead to them thinking vulgar thoughts about the opposte sex.Thank you.

Actually, I have to correct you there. After marriage, a husband and a wife are allowed to have physical contact with each other. but only after marriage! If any type of contact has interfered, on the day of judgement, the person will be punished harshfully (ex.being stoned to death, 100 lashes... etc.) but im not spreading the word that islam is harsh or anything, believe me its not, but if you disobey the rules, only Allah knows wat will happen to you on judgment day.
thank you!

Kahalid,
Greeting to you!
A few queries for you, hope you don't mind if I ask you some burning questions I have in my heart.?
May I enquire how exactly do you worship or whom do you worship?
What do you think of Mohammad marrying a child?
Do you think that was lawful for Mohammad to consumate that marriage?
Why are you expecting Jesus to return to earth and not Mohammad?
Would I dare to suggest that Jesus is going to be your judge ?
If you believe that Jesus is going to judge the peoples of all the earth including the followers of Islam , why then kill the followers of Jesus?
Why are so many followers of Islam experiencing Jesus appearing to them in dreams and visions ?
Why are so many devout followers of Islam converting to become followers of Jesus?

I am from Ireland and love , Muslims and all alike. My family grew up along side Muslims who befriended us. We loved and respected each other and were all happy in our own religion. I never asked my Muslim neighbours any of these questions, I didn't wish to be disrespectful. I only wish I could see my dear Muslim friends now to warn them of the danger they are in. They were lovley people.

I would hate to see any one get hurt never mind go to hell. I am not a violent person. I cannot see God wanting people with His Holy Spirit to harm or kill others. I see God as a righteous God who loves us but who will repay those (Himself) with unrepentant hearts
There is no sin in Him and He wants us to be like Him. It is a sin to kill or hurt people. Even our conscience convicts us of any wrong doings.
My heart longs to see the people of every nation ,walking in peace and harmony.: full of the Holy Spirit. That we all would please God by loving Him and loving our neighbour as ourselves. May God help each person who is really seeking Him to be found by the living Saviour!

Good bye for now,Khalid

Scott, there is nothing very special to expect in Egypt during prayer times. You will see that some people do go to the mosque during prayer times, others may stop what they are doing, but most continue as usual during times you are likely to walking around.

It is always good to be curious and the easiest is to ask people on the street what they would expect of you. It will certainly open some doors to discuss different views on the subject of prayer. In more religious countries during Ramadan, the expectation will be for you to stay out their way, but anyway as a westerner you are not expected to do anything but be polite hold to your own Christian heritage. Egypt is relatively secular and has tonnes of tourists, there are no expectations for you.

Trust that helps.
